A DRINK-DRIVER from Hereford was caught out behind the wheel while more than four times the alcohol limit.
Carl Gross was handed an interim ban from driving after entering a guilty plea to one count of driving a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit this month.
Hereford magistrates ordered for a pre-sentence report to be prepared by the probation service before his sentencing next month.
The court heard from prosecuting solicitor Jack Taylor that the 51-year-old was caught on the A438 at Bartestree in a Ford Mondeo while over the alcohol limit on February 21.

He was given a blood test and was found to have 326 microgrammes (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The limit is 80 mg.
Gross, of Frome Court, Bartestree, has been banned from driving until his sentencing on November 5.
It is obligatory for magistrates to disqualify those convicted of drink-driving, but the length of Gross’ ban will be confirmed next month.
