There's not long to go until Bonfire Night, with the county expected to be illuminated by dazzling fireworks, sparklers, and warm bonfires.

If you want to know some of the best places to witness the light spectacular during the period, you have come to the right place. Here are some of the events and activities taking place around the county:

St Michael's Hospice fireworks at Hereford Racecourse

Saturday, November 2, 5 pm-9 pm

The local hospice will be hosting a fireworks and light show this year at the Hereford Racecourse, promising to be filled with explosions of colour and light.

Along with the fireworks, there will be a "captivating" LED light show, which will create an immersive experience for all.

Standard tickets will be on sale until October 31, for £6.50.

Hereford Young Farmers fireworks display at Breinton Manor

Sunday, November 3 from 5 pm

The Young Farmer's firework display is promising to bring a special night, in aid of the ELY Memorial Fund, a local charity that supports families who have lost a young person in a road traffic collision.

The night will be held at Breinton Manor Fruit Farm, with tickets for £5, and with food and refreshments available. 

Tupsley Quarry Fireworks

Tuesday, November 5 at 7pm

Central Tupsley community group have planned a fireworks spectacular in collaboration with Hereford Elgar Rotary Club.

The display this year will also include a number of low noise fireworks, for those who may be affected by the sound.

A bouncy castle, fair ground rides, and a range of food will be available on the night, with the display starting at 7pm.

Ross Lions Firework Display at Ross Rowing Club

Saturday, November 4 from 6 pm

Guests are invited to join the Ross Lions for an evening of fireworks, food, and family activities on November 4. Bouncy castle, light sticks and lit novelties will be available in the evening. 

Gates open at 6 pm followed by fire juggling and fireworks after 7 pm. Tickets are on sale, with adults for £8, children £4, and family tickets £20.

KC Riding School Bodenham Fireworks

Brick House Farm, Bowdley Lane, Bodenham

Wednesday, October 31 from 7pm

KC Riding School have organised a "fabulous night" of bonfire frights and fireworks, including "scare fest" attractions.

Hot food and refreshments will be available to purchase from the onsite café, and volunteers will be on hand throughout the night to guide visitors around the site.

Tickets are available for £10 per person, with the money supporting the KC horse rescue.

Pencombe Young Farmers bonfire and fireworks night

Horton Corner, Thornbury, HR7 4NG

Gates open at 5.30 pm

Pencombe Young Farmers will be hosting a bonfire and fireworks spectacular this year, with food and refreshments available on the night.

Gates will open at 5.30 pm, with the bonfire to be lit at 6pm, and fireworks beginning at 7pm.

Tickets are available on the night, with adults for £8, under 16's for £5, and a family ticket, which permits two adults and two under 16's for £25.
