A BUSY Herefordshire town road will be closed for several days in October.
The closures are set to start on the B4260 Wilton Road in Ross-on-Wye on Sunday, October 27 and last three days.
The road will be closed from 8am to 5pm each day, a spokesperson for Herefordshire roads contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places said.

The closures will be in force while investigations are carried out around the base of the rock face.
The spokesperson said a signed diversion route will be in place via Wilton Road, A40, B4234 Ledbury Road, Greytree Road, Trenchard Street, High Street, and vice versa.

Vehicular access to properties within the road closure will be provided, but there may be times when this is not possible or there are delays, the spokesperson said.
The rockface bordering Wilton Road has been cause for concern over the years, with around nine tonnes of soil and stone removed earlier this year after a 'failure' in the rockface.
Containment barriers were previously installed in 2021 to prevent crumbling rock and debris falling on the carriageway.
The road was also closed earlier this month for emergency tree works.
