A DRINK-DRIVER caught on a Hereford road while over the limit has been banned from the roads for more than three years.
Joseph Lund pleaded guilty to one count of driving a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford last month.
The court heard from prosecuting solicitor Z Saeed that the 23-year-old was caught out in Hereford’s Union Street after getting behind the wheel of a Seat Ibiza while over the drink-driving limit on April 24.
An evidential breath test revealed he had 73 micrograms (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 mg.

He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He had been represented in court by defence solicitor Matthew Lewis.
