A highly anticipated Herefordshire pumpkin lantern display is making its return TONIGHT, and will be illuminating the village.
Light up Linton will be taking place in Linton's village hall between October 27 and October 29 this year and will see volunteers, including local school children, carve each pumpkin for a specific sponsor, with the gourds being lit each night.
The organisers have promised a "wonderful spooky sight", with the pumpkins being staged along the main lane in Linton, from The Alma Inn up to the Church.
This year, Hanks Meat and Game, a local family-run butcher shop, will be providing burgers and "small spooky meals" for children.
Visitors can "sponsor a pumpkin" by using a QR code via Light up Linton's Facebook page, and can then embark on their spooky mission to find their chosen pumpkin.
All sponsorship money goes to two chosen charities this year, which are Linton Brownies and Ross First Responders.
Organisers have encouraged locals and those from afar to visit the illuminated creations between 5 and 8 pm on all three nights, promising that it will be a "sight to see".
