A POPULAR fast-food chain is coming to a Herefordshire market town, it can be revealed.
Signs have now appeared outside the Texaco petrol station in Bromyard, saying that the British bakery chain, Greggs, will be coming to the site soon.
A spokesperson for the chain confirmed that the shop is due to open next month, but will be operated by their franchise partner, MFG.
"We look forward to welcoming Greggs fans and new customers to come try our range of tasty bakes, hot drinks and sweet treats”.
In February, planning permission was granted after Motor Fuel Group, which operates the Texaco petrol station on the Bromyard bypass, applied for permission to add a single-storey extension to the existing retail and workshop area.

The application sought permission to build a "food to go area", which would replace the current car wash area immediately to the east of the shop.
Planning permission was granted with various conditions, including that the shop must not be open to customers outside the hours of 7 am to 10 pm from Monday to Sunday.
It would increase employment at the site from the current three full-time and four part-time staff to eight full-time and six part-time, the application said.
