A man has been rescued from the River Wye near a city centre street.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire Service said that crews from Hereford Fire Station, including water first responders, boat crews from Hereford and Worcester and the incident command unit and drone from Ledbury were called at 11.14am on 27 October to a rescue from water in Bridge Street, Hereford.
A man, who was conscious and breathing, was rescued from the water by the swift water rescue team using a sled before being handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
West Mercia police offers also attended the scene. The incident was then marked as pending closure at 12:09.
