Two ferrets were stolen from a Hereford home, after being taken from a hutch within their garden.
A spokesperson for West Mercia police has said that the ferrets were subsequently located later in the day by a passing dog walker in the children's play park on Hunderton Green and have been safely returned to the owner.

The force added that a resident has carried out house-to-house inquiries in the local area for any witnesses to the theft or CCTV, but has so far only been told of 2 males involved aged approximately 8 to 13 years old.
If anyone has any further information or CCTV that may assist in the identification of the 2 males described please contact police on 101 quoting the log number 00269_I_27102024 as reference.
