A WOMAN has been injured in a crash on a main road in Herefordshire.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said paramedics were rushed to the A465 in Stoke Lacy, near Bromyard, on Friday morning (October 25).

One car had left the road, with police also at the scene to manage traffic and wait for recovery of the car.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "We were called to a car which had left the road on the A465 at 11.26am on Friday. One ambulance responded to the scene and assessed the driver, a woman. She sustained minor injuries. She declined hospital treatment."

A police spokesperson added: "We received a call around 11.25am on Friday with a report of a collision in Stoke Lacy. Officers arrived to find one vehicle involved. Officers remained at the scene to manage traffic and wait for recovery of the car."

The fire service was also required at the scene to make the car safe. A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from Bromyard Fire Station was called at 11.39am on October 25 to make a vehicle safe after a road traffic collision in Stoke Lacy. The incident involved one vehicle which was on all four wheels. One casualty had self-extricated from the vehicle before the arrival of the fire service and was in the care of the ambulance who attended along with police. The road was blocked due to the vehicle's location and police carried out traffic management. The incident was marked as pending closure at midday."
