Holmer Court, an Ashberry care home, provides activities most afternoons, tea and freshly-baked cakes for residents and guests alike. It is clean and tidy, with an overall family feel, making it deserving of its win.
Accepting the award at the ceremony at Hereford Racecourse last month, Gary Cotterell of Ashberry Care Homes said: "This award is very well-deserved. Everyone from the manager down loves working at Holmer Court. It feels like home to them as well as to the residents. It's great that they have got the recognition they deserve."
The health care team award is sponsored by National Star.
