A NUMBER of events will be held across Herefordshire on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day as a mark of respect as people gather to honour our fallen soldiers.
Here is a list of events happening around the county next week.
Hereford
Herefordshire's main event will take place in Hereford with the Remembrance Day parade and service on November 10. Organised by Hereford City Council, the parade will lead to the war memorial in St Peters Square shortly before 11am, culminating in a two-minute silence and the laying of wreaths.
An Armistice Day service at the war memorial in Hereford will then take place on Monday, November 11.

Bromyard
On November 10, A parade will form in Tenbury Road car park around 9.45am, ready to step off at 10.10am. They will march through town towards St Peter's Church for a brief service, led by Reverend Phil Miller. This will include the wreath-laying ceremony.
On November 11, a brief service will be held at the Royal British Legion garden, outside the Halo Centre, from 10.45am. Then, the mayor will lay a wreath at the Korean War Memorial.
Ledbury
The Ledbury Remembrance Day service and parade on November 10 will include a service at the war memorial, followed by a service in St Michael and All Angels Church.
There will also be a short service of remembrance at the war memorial on November 11 at 11am.
Leominster
On November 10, a parade will march off from Broad Street to the Priory Church with the service to commence at 10am, moving out to the cenotaph at 10.50am. A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am followed by wreath laying.
Another short service of remembrance will be observed on November 11 at 11am at the cenotaph.
Ross-on-Wye
On Remembrance Sunday there will be a parade and service at the Prospect and St Mary's Church in Ross-on-Wye.
The next day, on November 11, there will be an Armistice Day commemoration at the Market House at 11am.
