A HEREFORDSHIRE town is set to be a hub of Christmas festivities in December.
Ross-on-Wye's Christmas Fayre and festive lights switch-on will take place on Sunday, December 1.
The Christmas lights switch-on will be accompanied by a day of entertainment and festive spirit from 11am to 5pm, with the big moment when the town lights up to happen at 4.30pm.
The Christmas Fayre event is organised by Ross town council and sponsored by Taylor Wimpey, with over 80 stalls expected.

The town centre’s lights will be switched on during a day of festive entertainment at the Christmas Fayre on Sunday 1st December 2024.
There is also still some time left to nominate a "switch-on star" to turn on Ross' lights.
A spokesperson for the town council said: "To nominate a local person who you feel deserves the honour, please send the name of the person and why you are nominating them in no more than 100 words by email to admin@rosstc-herefordshire.gov.uk before 5pm on Friday, November 1."
