Barbara Mace, Ballingham
There has been another crash at a local blackspot hailed as a ‘mock’ Hereford bypass. Traffic was re-routed and queued for hours on October 22 after a van came off the Holme Lacy bridge causeway.

Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
There has been a rising number of crashes at the spot with increased traffic coming to and from Rotherwas to bypass Hereford.
Angry local residents have again had to put up with delays and road closure and the latest crash has prompted mounting fears that unless something is done soon there could be fatalities - a school bus previously overturned at the site.
Calls have been made for the 30mph speed limit through Holme Lacy to be extended through the village down the hill and causeway to the bridge and making it illegal to overtake on the causeway. When will someone in authority take responsibility and sort this out before it becomes too late?
