A HEREFORDSHIRE health and social care team has been recognised with a major award.
Dementia Matters Here(fordshire) has received the dementia carer award in the Hereford Times Health and Social Care Awards 2024.
The award-winners were revealed during a glitzy ceremony at Hereford Racecourse on October 3. The evening commenced with a drinks reception and a three-course dinner, followed by the awards ceremony and a chance to party and celebrate.

Dementia Matters Here(fordshire) earned the coveted award for its passionate, person-centred support and care. It prides itself on listening to what individuals are asking for and giving them the help they need. The team was said to "go the extra mile".
A spokesperson for the group said on the night: "We're honoured to have our work recognised".
The dementia carer award is sponsored by Garth Care Services, and is for those who strive to improve the delivery of care for those living with dementia.
