A HEREFORD carer has been recognised as the top care home worker in Herefordshire with a prestigious award.
The Hereford Times Health and Social Care award for care home workers was given to Jeny Clarke of Holmer Court.
Ms Clarke has earned praise for her gentle and caring ways, as well as her "infectious smile". She is said to "bring joy and light into Holmer Court and give 100 per cent every day".
Ms Clarke is guided by residents' needs and is "adored" by the people she looks after and her colleagues.

Each year at the health and social care awards, the care worker award goes to an individual home care worker who strives to improve the delivery of care.
