A MAN has been charged with drink-driving after a crash on a Herefordshire bridge.
Police said a driver was arrested at the scene of the van crash on the Moreton-on-Lugg bridge last night (October 31).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said that officers arrived to find one vehicle involved in the crash, and have confirmed that Charlie Tapley, 28, of Grange Drive, Osset, Yorkshire, has been charged with driving a vehicle while over the legal limit of alcohol.
A fire crew was also called to the scene, with a spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service adding that firefighters made the van safe and assisted police with a search of the area.
