A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after committing offences at the Oval in Belmont, Hereford.
Oliver Harman entered guilty pleas to two counts of using a motor vehicle with a proportion of a controlled drug above the limit when he appeared at Hereford Magistrates' Court last month. There were two different drugs in his system on the day of the offence, March 30.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 22-year-old, who was represented by defence solicitor George Cousins of GC Law, had been caught driving a Ford Kuga at the Oval in Belmont on March 30 while over the limit for two different drugs.
He was found to be over the drug-driving limit for ketamine and cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had no less than 238 microgrammes (mg) of benzoylecgonine and greater than 200 mg of ketamine in his blood. The respective legal limits are 50 mg and 20 mg.
Harman, of Hunderton Road, Hereford, was fined £100 for each offence.
He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge. He was not ordered to pay any prosecution costs due to his lack of means.
