AN AUDI driver has been banned from the road for three years after he was found over the alcohol limit in Hereford.
Gavin Phillips was handed a ban from driving after entering a guilty plea to one count of driving a motor vehicle while over the alcohol limit last month.
The court heard from prosecuting solicitor Lauren Millichip that the 33-year-old was caught in Winston Road in an Audi A3 while over the alcohol limit on August 11.
He was breathalysed and was found to have 69 micrograms (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

He also admitted to using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance and his driving record was endorsed for this offence
Phillips, of Lawnside Road Ledbury, who was represented in court by defence solicitor George Cousins of GC Law, has been banned from driving for 36 months.
He was also fined £300 and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £120 victim surcharge.
