A DRUG-DRIVER caught out while over four times the limit in Hereford has been banned from the roads.
Charlotte Rowe, 26, entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when appearing before magistrates in Hereford last month. She had used cannabis before driving.
The court heard from prosecutor Thomas Wickstead that Rowe had been caught out in Hereford’s Hunderton Road after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra car while over the drug-driving limit on April 4.

An evidential blood test revealed that Rowe had 9.8 microgrammes (mg) of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two mg.
Rowe, of Vernon Williams Close, Hereford, was fined £120 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for the offence, with magistrates saying they took her guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
The 26-year-old was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £48 victim surcharge.
