The Greens have held onto the Bishops Frome and Cradley ward in Herefordshire vacated by the county's newest MP Ellie Chowns.
Rebecca Tully comfortably topped the poll yesterday (November 7) with 531 votes, more than twice the tally of her Conservative opponent, chair of Bromyard town council Mark Franklin, who garnered 215 votes.
Ms Tully has worked in teaching, training and community projects for over 25 years.

Dr Chowns, the former leader of the Green group on the council, stepped down from the role following her election victory in the North Herefordshire seat in July.
The full result of the Bishops Frome and Cradley ward byelection was:
- Rebecca Tully (Green): 531 votes
- Mark Franklin (Conservative): 215
- Dave James (Reform UK): 99
- Nicki West (Liberal Democrats): 27
- Sandy Grenar (Labour): 12
Turnout was 33.2 per cent, Herefordshire Council has said.
It leaves the Greens as the third largest party locally with nine seats on the council, all but one female. They are now led by Coun Diana Toynbee.
