The iconic city centre hotel has history spanning centuries, and has long-standing connections to the community.
The building was refurbished in 2019, when a new team took over the business, and now has an entire ground floor dedicated to food and drink.
Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a vast range of breakfasts, and book a table in The Hereford restaurant for dinner, or relax in the refurbished Garrick Lounge for afternoon tea.
Julian Vaughan, managing director of the hotel said the team felt "very privileged and honoured" to be shortlisted for the local awards.
"It’s fantastic for the team to be recognised for their hard work looking after over 50,000 visitors a year.
"Since the refurbishment of the hotel, our guests have really appreciated the effort that has gone into bringing the hotel up to it’s current standard.

He has also been involved in transforming his wife’s family home at Dewsall Court in south Herefordshire into a popular wedding and events venues.
