POLICE were called to a Herefordshire road to search for signs of a fire being set after reports were made to emergency services.
A fire was reported at Lawnside Road in Ledbury last night (November 10), but when the fire service and police arrived, there were no signs of the blaze.
Police searched the area for signs that a fire had been set, but did not find any offenders or damage to the property.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and emergency services left the scene later that evening.
Police have said there was no trace that a fire had been set at all.
A spokesperson for the fire service added: "Two fire service crews, one each from Ledbury and Malvern Fire Stations, were called on November 10 to a building fire in Lawnside Road. This was a fire on the roof of a building. The building was checked with no obvious signs of fire. Police were requested to check the inside of the building."
