A HEREFORD carer has been recognised as the top domiciliary care worker in Herefordshire with a prestigious award.
The Hereford Times Health and Social Care award for domiciliary care workers was given to Abi Chapman of Mobile Care, a company based in Hereford.
Ms Chapman has earned praise for her "passion for training and staff retention". She is said to be an "inspiring leader and loves coming up with new ideas to benefit clients".
Ms Chapman has worked in the healthcare sector for over a decade.

Accepting the award at the ceremony at Hereford Racecourse on October 3, Ms Chapman said: "I'm shaking. We've worked really hard at Mobile Care. This isn't just for me, it's for us."
Each year at the health and social care awards, the domiciliary care worker award goes to a community team or individual, celebrating the important work they do in health and care in Herefordshire.
The award was sponsored by Rotherwood Healthcare.
