A fan-favourite Hereford burger restaurant could be expanding its empire, as it submits planning permission for new premises.

The Beefy Boys have submitted an application to Bath and North Somerset council for premises in Milsom Street.

The business has applied for various permissions for building alterations for the unit, which was previously occupied by the chain restaurant Loch Fyne.

In an application submitted in July, Beefy Boys Holding Ltd applied for permission to fit out the ground floor, basement and courtyard garden of 24 Milsom Street, Bath to accommodate a new restaurant.

The application sought listed building consent for internal and external works and the installation of replacement signage.

It has also submitted various plans for the restaurant layout, including removing two bars, flooring, and part of the existing light fittings.

Another possible branch of the hit burger restaurant could also be on the cards.

On Companies House, Beefy Boys Cardiff Limited has been incorporated, with the registered address showing as their Old Market restaurant. The company was registered on May 14 of this year.

On the same day, Beefy Boys Bath Limited was also registered.

The cult burger business, which was founded in Hereford, already has its flagship restaurant in Hereford as well as sites in Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.

In July, a food TikToker revealed she thought the team could have plans for expanding.

Creator Kate Ovens, who posts clips of herself attempting food challenges from around the world posted a video trying one of the hit burgers, with text saying: "The Beefy Boys were talking about new locations".
