HEREFORD'S Beefy Boys have revealed one of the burgers that saw them take the title of fourth-best burger in the world at an international competition.
The team from Hereford headed to the United States of America this week to take part in the World Food Championships in Indianapolis.
Sadly, the team said, it was not possible to take Hereford beef from the UK to the US, so they had to source the closest thing they could locally.
But despite having to substitute one of their key ingredients for the "extreme burger" the round demanded, the competition saw the Beefy Boys take their spot in the world's top seven to compete in the grand finale, also winning judges choice in that round.

For the final, the team was put to the test by being asked to produce 10 burgers for the judges.
The Beefy Boys promised the "best, simply, good, honest cheeseburger" they could put up for the round, which would see one team take the title of World's Best Burger.
And while they did not take the top spot, the team managed to cement their place in burger royalty by being crowned the fourth best in the world.
And now they have revealed what went into one of their award-winning burger, the Bouje Boy.
Describing the burger as an "elevated twist on our national award-winning and fan favourite, the Dirty Boy", the team said this "standout creation" claimed the judges choice award in round one, ultimately helping them take fourth place in the World's Best Burger competition.
The burger features champagne-pickled gherkins, truffle-infused dirty mayo, and miso and bone marrow onions.
It has been a week of big news for the team, who started their food journey in Hereford.
Building on the success of their Old Market "Meat Boutique" restaurant in Hereford, they have since opened restaurants in both Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.
Now, planning documents and Companies House registrations reveal, the Beefy Boys appear to be looking to expand their restaurant empire in both Bath and Cardiff.
