A HEREFORDSHIRE nurse has won an award honouring his commitment to his work at a local care home.
The Hereford Times Health and Social Care Good Nurse Award is given to healthcare professionals who demonstrate an innovative, compassionate and patient-centred approach to their work.
Gideon Kusi of Rotherwood Health Care, which has several care homes in Herefordshire, has been recognised as this year's award winner.

Celebrating his win, Mr Kusi said: "I'm so excited. I wasn't expecting to win!"
A spokesperson for Rotherwood Health Care added: "Gideon Kusi has been recognised as a shining example of exceptional care. His passion for nursing and unwavering commitment to our residents our truly inspiring. This award is a testament to his outstanding work, and we couldn't be prouder of him."
The Good Nurse Award is sponsored by Alina Home Care and was presented to Mr Kusi at the 2024 awards ceremony at Hereford Racecourse last month.
