Trains between two major stations have been cancelled for part of today after a signalling fault.
West Midlands Railway, which operates services from Hereford through Ledbury and Colwall to Worcester and Birmingham, made the announcement today that services between Hereford and Worcester will be disrupted due to a fault with the signalling system.
The company announced on X this morning that there was a signalling fault between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford. The company added that rail replacement buses would be in place between between the stations in both directions until further notice.

On the National Rail, the site is now showing that there are no trains between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford until around midday.
National Rail has currently issued a warning for parts of the UK that travel may be delayed and disrupted due to harsh weather conditions. Currently, no warning has been issued for Herefordshire rail services following the announcement.
