A BUSY Hereford city centre street is set to close for sewer works.
Broad Street in Hereford will be closed to traffic at the High Street end of the road on November 24, according to Herefordshire Council.
The council has published a notice informing drivers that it has made a temporary road closure order for the busy city street.
The closure is necessary due to planned sewer works and the likelihood of danger to the public while these works are carried out, the council said.
The closure is expected only to last for one day, according to the notice.
Herefordshire Council said a diversion is in place for drivers affected by the closure, with traffic being sent via the A438, A49, and West Street and vice versa.
