I would not like to see the Newtown Inn lost as a pub forever and believe that it should be open once again (online: “Vehement” opposition as closed Herefordshire pub put up for sale, November 12).
What are your thoughts?

The Newtown Inn is very well situated not only for residents of Lower Eggleton but also for the villagers of fast-growing Monkhide.
I was once a regular customer at this pub and we seem to have already lost most of the pubs in the area.
