AFTER all the waiting here it is - a first look inside Hereford's new Matalan in Old Market.
On Saturday (November 23) the shop will open its doors for the first time.
The Hereford Times had the chance to go along and see the shop before it opens, to give you a sneak peek inside its doors.
Here are some photos from inside the shop so you can see what to expect.
The eagerly awaited launch of Matalan will bring a range of affordable clothing and home essentials to Hereford.
The new Matalan store in Hereford marks the retailer's very first location in the area, providing local customers with convenient access to Matalan fashion and homeware.
Matalan has said the new location shows its "commitment to bringing affordable, stylish collections closer to communities across the UK, enhancing the shopping experience for customers in Hereford and its neighbouring towns".
The official launch event will kick off from 9am on Saturday, November 23, with exciting giveaways, entertainment and the mayor coming to cut the ribbon.
Within the shop, customers will be able to shop the latest fashion for the whole family with womenswear, menswear and kidswear departments and a homeware section.
In addition, the shop will be home to some other popular concessions including Claire’s Accessories and Card Factory. These were not yet completely set up at the time of our visit.
A click-and-collect service will also allow customers to conveniently pick up orders made through www.matalan.co.uk.
Manager Liz Lewington said: “We’re so excited to bring a brand new Matalan store to the heart of Hereford.
"We invite everyone to join us for our grand opening on Saturday, November 23 and be among the first to experience everything our newest store has to offer.
"The new store is a fantastic addition for Hereford, giving local customers a convenient way to shop the latest Matalan offerings.
"We look forward to welcoming customers to be a part of the Matalan community!”
