Two people were rescued by a farmer and fire crew today after a car was stuck in floodwater on a main Herefordshire road.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said they were called shortly before 3pm today to the A4103 near Newtown Crossroads after a car had become stuck in floodwater.
The service spokesperson said that two people, one female and one child, were rescued from the saloon car after a farmer assisted them using a telehandler.
The incident has now been closed according to the fire service.
