A popular Herefordshire family-run business will be closing its doors at its tea room home early next year as its team pursues other ventures.
In an announcement published on November 24, the team behind Kenchester Tea Rooms said that they have made the decision that their tea room journey will end on March 31, "after eight amazing years".
"It took several long months and lots of talks amongst us as a family to make this decision," the announcement said.
"Some people wonder why when we are thriving and have put the tearooms on the map, but ultimately as a family-run business we all have desires to go out on a high and pursue other things."

The announcement said it has been "such a hard decision", as many of the business' customers have become friends, but that they will still be busy baking with business Fatboy Bakes.
"We have so much going on in the background which will become clearer over the next few months, but if you have seen us at a few markets lately, now you know why," the announcement said.
The announcement said the business is not being sold, but that they are simply not renewing their lease.
"The tearooms will remain open to new owners, that is for the landlord to decide," the announcement said.
Existing orders will be honoured by Fatboy Bakes, while the business' Facebook page will remain active and be renamed on April 1.
