FIRE crews rushed to a Hereford home after a blaze broke out from a woodburning stove.
Two fire crews from Hereford Fire Station were called to a property in Ridgehill yesterday (November 24) at around 9.52pm after reports of a fire, and descended on the scene to control the blaze.
Firefighters had to clear the wood burner's flue and check for hot spots before leaving the scene.
There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required.
The fire service said the incident was marked as pending closure at 10.42pm.

A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) said: "Two HWFRS crews from Hereford were called at 9.52pm to a woodburning stove fire in Ridgehill, Hereford. Fire service personnel cleared the flue and checked for hotspots.
"There were no casualties. No other emergency services were required."
The fire service has also been called out to 50 flooding related incidents across Herefordshire and Worcestershire in the wake of Storm Bert yesterday.
