This is a reader's letter published in the Hereford Times on November 28.
WITH the announcement that the Government intends to introduce inheritance tax on farming, I just have to wonder how long is it going to be until we lose the sights and smells that we encounter daily while out for a day in our countryside (Get behind our farmers, November 21).

I truly believe farms have just been handed the final nail in a long run of nails dealt to them ever since the government failed to deliver what was promised to our farming industry.
All industry, to be precise.
