A CAFE owner has described the moment a bus burst into flames on a Herefordshire road.
The fire broke out on the single-decker Yeomans bus this morning (November 28). Video footage showed huge flames and plumes of smoke billowing from the vehicle as passengers were evacuated.
One of those to witness the fire was the owner of the Grange cafe in Mortimers Cross, near to where the bus caught fire.
Annaly Goodwin told the Hereford Times: "I didn't see what started the fire, and I have absolutely no idea, but I saw the flames.
"The bus driver did a very good job at getting the passengers to safety and the fire service arrived really quickly.
"The bus fire has now been put out and the roads are open. It all seemed to happen so fast and I'm glad all passengers and the driver are safe."

Firefighters had raced to the scene earlier this morning and used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
The bus driver arranged a further bus for onward travel, with the passengers now able to continue with their journeys.
Yeomans has been approached for comment.
