A LOCAL charity has given an opening date for its brand new store in Ross-On-Wye.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) recently announced it would be coming to the market town, and has now revealed its new shop will be based on Gloucester Road.
In a post on Facebook, the charity announced the grand opening of the store, which will be on December 20.
In a job advert posted on its website, the charity said it's looking to hire "enthusiastic and dedicated individuals" for positions on the shop floor, in the stock room, and window dressing.
The MAAC already has a shop in Hereford, located in the former Laura Ashley unit on the corner of Commercial Street and Gomond Street in the city centre.

The Hereford shop opened last year and saw great success in its initial months. It stocks pre-loved goods and has a "community hub".
Anil Gupta, head of retail for MAAC, said at the time of the Hereford shop's opening: “While we undertake hundreds of vitally important missions in Herefordshire each year, this is the first time we have opened a charity shop in the county.
""This will be our eighth charity shop to open across the six counties we cover and will give local people the chance to purchase pre-loved items at very reasonable prices.
"Most importantly, it will help us raise funds to support our lifesaving missions via air ambulance helicopter and critical care car in the area."
