We've selected some of the most shocking cases we have reported on throughout November.
Here are those cases, and, where applicable, the sentences they resulted in.
Men jailed after international drugs ring bust
Two members of a prolific drugs ring which operated across the south west and Shropshire and imported drugs from Portugal have been jailed after a lengthy British Transport Police investigation.
Jordan McCourt-Knight, 30, of Roman Close, Leintwardine, Herefordshire, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs cocaine and MDMA and five counts of conspiracy to supply class B drugs ketamine and cannabis and was jailed for six years and three months.
Harley Hall, 28, of Hope Bagot Lane, Knowbury, Shropshire, admitted two counts of conspiracy to supply a class A drugs cocaine and MDMA, three counts of conspiracy to supply class B drugs ketamine and cannabis and one count of possession with intent to supply cannabis. He was jailed for five years and 10 months.
Cannabis grower ordered to pay £97,000
A man from Hereford who was jailed for producing cannabis has been ordered to pay back the proceeds of his crime or face more time in prison.
Andrew Mannion, of Orchard Meadow, Lower Eggleton, entered a guilty plea to two counts of being concerned in the production of cannabis and on August 25, 2023, he was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment on count one and six months to run concurrently on count two.
At a proceeds of crime hearing at Worcester Crown Court on November 19, the 62-year-old was instructed to pay back the proceeds of his crime amounting to £97,009.44.
West Mercia PC sentenced for child sexual images offence
A former West Mercia Police officer has been sentenced for making indecent images.
Jamie Bunting, 27, previously pleaded guilty after he was charged with three counts of making indecent images.
The former police constable, who worked for the force which covers Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Shropshire, was given a suspended sentence at Shrewsbury Crown Court on November 7.

Man jailed after crash left nurse unable to walk
A US citizen who fled the UK after a Herefordshire car crash has been jailed.
Issac Calderon appeared at Worcester Crown Court on November 7 where he was sentenced to 32 months imprisonment for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
