THE Queen's son Tom Parker Bowles has hailed the Beefy Boys and said the burgers are as good as those served in New York.
Tom Parker Bowles visited the Hereford business' branch in Cheltenham and gave it four out of five stars for the Mail on Sunday.
Parker Bowles, 49, is an acclaimed food writer and critic, and wrote in his review: "The Beefy Boys in Cheltenham, where the burgers are up there with New York. They started as street-food vendors and now have three West Country sites. Patties of locally sourced chuck and brisket are minced fresh daily."
He described the quality of the meat as "impeccable" and said he ordered an OG boy.
Sharing his verdict, he said: "Splendidly beefy and lusciously messy, it's a five-napkin beauty, the juice cascading down my arms."
He added that the chilli cheese boy "sits in a puddle of decent chilli topped with nacho cheese" and said it was "bliss".

"After this, you'll need a bath," he concluded.
The Beefy Boys was founded by a group of friends in Hereford and has restaurants in Cheltenham and Shrewsbury, as well as another one soon to open in Bath.
They recently came fourth in the highly competitive finals of the World Food Championships in the United States.
