A FIRE at a Bromyard bus depot was not the result of arson.
Police appealed for information about suspicious activity around the Linton Trading Estate after the fire on the night of Tuesday April 22.
But their investigations have revealed that the most likely cause was an electrical fault. Neil Tipton, police press officer, said: "The fire is not being treated as arson. It appears the most likely explanation is there was an electrical fault with one of the buses and it spread to the rest of the vehicles." Firefighters worked throughout the night to contain the fire which destroyed more than a dozen buses.
