A HEREFORD garden centre is offering free advice and information about compost.
Wyevale Garden Centre, King’s Acre Road, is teaming up with the Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) to help gardeners find out about using peat-free composts and making their own compost.
Centre manager Paul Hodges said: “Peat-free composts contain recycled garden material such as grass cuttings, prunings and leaves. Home compost is also easy to make and can cut down the waste you have in your average household bin by around 30%.
“Both composts also deliver great results for your garden too.” Visitors tomorrow (Friday) will be able to discuss queries with staff on the WRAP Compost Kiosk and take away free advice leaflets. For more details call Wyevale on 01432 266261.
