TIME is running out for Herefordshire communities to prove their worth in a regional competition.
Entry forms for this year’s Herefordshire and Worcestershire Calor Village of the Year award sent out in April must be in by Friday May 30.
Competitions organiser Pauline Dumville said: “When villagers work together to complete an entry to the competition it brings alive a community spirit in them that just can’t be replicated in any other activity.”
One winner from Herefordshire and one from Worcestershire will then be nominated to represent their counties at the Calor Village of the Year® for England competition to try for a share of its £40,000 prize fund.
Entry forms are available by calling Andrea Cooper on 01684 312730 or emailing andreac@comfirst.org.uk
