A HEREFORD fitness instructor has retired for the second time.
Pete Taylor, who first took retirement in the early 1990s, worked in leisure in Herefordshire for more than 30 years.
Pete started working at Hereford Swimming Baths in the early 1970s and spent time as assistant manager of Hereford Leisure Centre a decade later before returning to Hereford Leisure Pool as manager.
Most recently, Pete has been acting in the role of training instructor across all Halo leisure centres, providing staff with the key skills and knowledge required to carry out their duties. He has also worked for a number of years supporting a county lifesaving club.
Halo staff thanked him for all of his hard work and dedication to leisure provision in Herefordshire, and in Hereford city in particular. They also wished him a healthy and happy retirement.
