MUSEUM - The AGM was held in the museum on Wednesday, April 30, and was attended by 20 people. The hon treasurer, hon secretary and the hon curator each gave their reports and then the chairman, Geoffrey Crofts, summed up the year’s activities and thanked all those who keep the museum running. On Thursday, May 1, the museum welcomed Althea McKenzie, textile conservator at Berrington Hall and Hereford Museum, who gave a talk and demonstration to some of the volunteers on textile conservation. The museum has more than 20 boxes of textiles all of which have to be washed and preserved.
