MUSIC IN MARSTOW - Following its success last year, Music in Marstow is back again on Saturday, June 14. Everyone had a great time picnicking and dancing along to the band Intrigue who have played at venues from the Cafe Royal to the Birmingham NEC. By popular demand, they will be playing again this year supported by Twisted Jazz. The event will in the same venue, a beautiful field next to St Matthew’s Church at Brelston Green, Marstow, midway between Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. Everyone is invited to bring their own picnic, rugs and deckchairs or erect a gazebo and party in style. There will be a Pimms bar and a grand draw with prizes. The event raised thousands for local charities in 2007 and the organisers hope to do even better this year. Do go along and show support for the 2008 charities, Ross Community Hospital’s League of Friends, St Matthew’s Church, Lifebuoy and Goodrich Greenspace. Music in Marstow is being supported by local businesses and friends. Tickets are adults £15, children 15 and under accompanied by an adult, £2. Come along and have a wonderful evening and make a contribution to local charities. For full booking details, go to music-in-marstow.org or call 01600 890329.
