Spring has again brought a wide variety of migrant birds to Herefordshire.
Bird Patrol, the Hereford Times site dedicated to monitoring the arrival of summer migrant birds, has received numerous ‘cuckoo’ posts this week. But perhaps the most interesting post on the site was from Selena Grundy of Eardisland, who contacted us to say she had heard a nightingale in the village.
Bird Patrol welcomes readers’ messages and reports of swallows, house martins, swifts and other birds.
