A ROSS-on-Wye society has donated more than £2,000 to two county causes.
The Ross Lions recently presented £1,040 to the Hope for Tomorrow mobile chemotherapy project for the purchase of equipment.
A further £1,500 was given to the paediatric unit at Hereford County hospital for the purchase of two pulse oximeters.
Two members of the Lions also run the Basement Youth Trust which, in partnership with the Herefordshire Youth Service and the Courtyard, runs sessions for young people in Ross and the surrounding area.
It originally started as a Ross Lions project in 1993 and they have raised more £30,000 every year, to fund it.
