SCHOOL - The Sutton CP School PTA would like to say a huge thank-you to all the people of Sutton and children and families of the school who turned out to support us on Saturday, May 17, for our country fayre. Despite a last-minute change of venue, it was a total success and the kids had a great day. The assault course and the stocks were a huge hit with children and families. Special thanks go to all the parents and grandparents who turned up on Saturday morning to help the PTA set up the event. A huge thank-you to Paul Evans who built the assault course and dads including Joe, Steve and Pete who supplied equipment and Ali who helped run the event on the day. Thanks to all the parents and children who ran a stall on the day; we could not have raised so much money without you all. A huge thank-you once again to Herefordshire Meats who were there on the day and supplied us with a hamper that we raffled. At the time of going to press, we have raised £1,000 which is a huge amount for such a small school.
