ANNUAL PARISH MEETING - The meeting was held on Wednesday, May 14, and was well attended. The topics discussed were flytipping: the council is to apply to install covert cameras around the parish, verges damaged by large and heavy building contractors’ vehicles, the safety at the bend in the area of Pigeon House Farm where building works have narrowed the road to a dangerous degree, recycling and footpaths and cycleways, in particular Green Lane and Veldifer Lane. The council is to take action on all these topics.
The next meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, July 9, at the village hall. There will be a planning meeting to discuss the barns at Pigeon House Farm at 7.30pm in St Michael’s Church today (Thursday).
