COUNTY residents are being urged to burn off those calories and raise money for a good cause by climbing the Worcestershire Beacon next month.
The charity WaterAid is staging a Trail 100 Challenge, which will see fundraisers from across the country simultaneously climb Britain’s 100 favourite hills and mountains.
One of these is the Worcestershire Beacon in the Malvern Hills, which climbers will take to on Saturday, June 7.
Money raised will go towards providing safe and clean water to the world’s poorest people.
To register for the walk, call 0845 120 1293, or visit www.wateraidtrail100.org
• Britain’s 100 favourite hills and mountains included in the Challenge were chosen by a panel of experts at Trail magazine.
