VILLAGERS in north Herefordshire have a chance to view a £1.2 million water investment scheme next week.
Welsh Water begin the task of renewing 13 kilometres of mater mains on May 27, work which is set to be completed in April 2009.
A public exhibition takes place on May 29 between 5pm and 7pm in Wigmore Village Hall for residents of Wigmore, Leinthall Starkes, Adforton and Mortimers Cross.
Information packs will also be issued to everyone directly affected by the work.
Peter Childs, capital manager for Welsh Water, said the company had liased with Herefordshire Council while planning the works. “We would like to assure customers that work to upgrade the water mains in the area will be done with the least amount of disruption to their water supplies,” he added.
